This styled shoot took place in New York City and was intentionally commissioned to bring together a thoughtful, cross-cultural wedding narrative centered on an Indian bride. As a photographer who regularly documents cultural weddings, I’m deeply inspired by how each culture shares its traditions, garments, and rituals with guests on a wedding day—often introducing them to customs they may be experiencing for the first time.
Many modern weddings also reflect blended or cross-cultural unions, where couples honor multiple backgrounds as they begin their marriage together.
This project was created as part of a larger effort to introduce and visually document the weddings we see today, and it brought new clarity and direction to the next phase of that work.
